Slow down, warn police

Midway RCMP ask people to be mindful of road conditions and slow down on the winter highways.

Cpl. Judson Mayes from the Boundary Regional RCMP, Midway detachment reports that RCMP have responded to a total of eight motor vehicle collisions, from Beaverdell to Rock Creek and Greenwood from Nov. 21-29

“Boundary Regional residents are to be mindful of winter driving conditions,” said Mayes in an email to the Times. “Contributing factors in the accidents include black ice, fog and speed. Please slow down, and drive with caution.”
