The Kettle Wildlife Association was the venue for a 22 rifle shoot for youngsters last Saturday.
Les and Cornelia Best organized the day, including hot dogs, drinks and coupons good for an ice cream at The Spot in Midway.
Dale Eek donated some cash to help with the event and Norrie Todd of North Island Fire Arms donated the 22 shells.
Members of the trap club came out and two of the youngsters went over and shot some pigeons.
The rifles were supplied by the KWA members and Les Best said that safety was paramount with club members acting as mentors beside each shooter on the range.

3 – Xavier Graham 10 - $10
Older kids
1 - Bo Blackmore 17 - $20
2 – Courtney Best 11 - $15
3 – Dakota Winn 12 - $10
4 – Aiden Schneider 12 - $5
