A new board of the Rock Creek Community Medical Society were elected at Thursday's AGM. Gerald and Vicki Feist were acknowledged by a hearty round of applause for their leadership and active involvement over the past many years. Their stepping down and pleas to the public to become involved brought out a combination of past, current and new members.
The 2013/2014 RCCMS New Board Executive is President Terry Keough, Vice President Emilio Martinez, Past President Gerald Feist, Treasurer Hazel Self, and Secretary Judy Singers. In supporting roles as directors are Peri Best, Bill Bosovich, Dennis Culic, Stephen Kirkham, Shannon Keough, Gail Mclean, Issy Mclean, and Norma Tilgner.
A short meeting of the new board followed the election and Terry framed his vision of renewal for the society. RCCMS will be having a work party in June to clean up before their 8th Canada Day Celebrations. The date will be announced soon. As in past years, community members are very welcome to help out on this one-day cleanup.
