West Boundary communities were overrun with kids on June 20th as West Boundary Elementary celebrated the end of the 2012-2013 Wild Reader Program with a scavenger hunt.
To participate, students had to earn Wild Bucks by reading for 20 minutes a night four nights per week for the entire school year.
In past years they have gone to Kelowna, but this year they changed it up a bit with teams of kids going to businesses and offices on a scavenger hunt.
According to Principal Brian Foy, 62 students qualified this year – earning the $180 in Wild Bucks needed to secure a ticket on the bus.
