November 20, 1948 – October 31, 2013 On Thursday October 31, 2013, Mr. Harvey Blaine (Harv) Tomlin of Rock Creek passed away suddenly surrounded by family at the Penticton Regional Hospital at the age of 64 years.

Harv will be fondly remembered by his daughters Kyla Tomlin and Danielle Caruk; grandchildren Justice, Gabrielle and Tucker; mother Eleanor; siblings Noreen, Kevin and Karen as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Harv was a freelance equipment operator and prospector. He enjoyed reading, gold panning, fishing derbies, making rock candles and was a great debater. Harv was also a volunteer with the Rock Creek Lions Club.

Harv was also well known for making colloidal silver. Over the years, he generously supplied hundreds of people with silver, often altruistically. He never turned anyone in need away and had a soft spot for the down-trodden. He was a voracious reader and avid CBC listener who loved to debate the issues of the day over a good cup of coffee or tea. Harv was witty and sharp, quick with his smiles, scrupulously honest and generous with his hugs. He will be greatly missed by all.
