Grand Forks Easter egg hunt is on!

Candy-fueled chaos descends on Dick Bartlett Park

Easter came to Grand Forks and landed at Dick Bartlett Park on Saturday, with Winnie the Pooh and friends greeting families for the annual Easter Egg Hunt hosted by River Valley Community Church. Hundreds of people filled the field to spend time with the legendary characters Winnie, Tigger and the Easter Bunny playing games, bouncing around castles and sack races and free toys, cotton candy and popcorn. The main event, the egg hunt, was split into two age groups, with families let loose to grab as many eggs as they could. Once the hunt was over, families retrieved the candy inside the eggs, returning the shells to event organizers.
