Nevada Dynneson recently returned from the National Junior High Finals Rodeo (NJHFR) in Gallup, New Mexico where she competed in barrel racing as a member of the BC Provincial National Junior High Rodeo Team.
There were 1,800 competitors from around the world, 180 in the barrels alone – and Dynneson did well for the Boundary as she came in 30th in the second round.
The 13-year-old qualified for the position on the provincial team during the BC Junior High Rodeo Finals in Hudson’s Hope, B.C. in May.
Willow Spring Black Angus in Westbridge sponsors Dynneson.
The next stop for the youngster will be the Canadian finals in Nanton, AB, on July 25-27.
