The Rock Creek Community Medical Society is holding their annual general meeting on Thursday, June 6 at 6 p.m. In order to keep operating the clinic in an efficient manner a full board of directors is required.
Since 1998, between my wife Vicki and myself we have been on the executive and board of directors continuously and for the past five years Vicki has been the booking agent for the clinic.
We were going to step down last year but with a lot of coaxing stayed for this year. On June 6 we will not be seeking re-election; it is time to pass it on to someone else. If the community wishes to continue having doctors and a medical clinic then more interest must be shown.
We will still be there to help any new members that are willing to help run the society.
