On September 22, William George Peters passed away at his home in Greenwood, B.C. Bill was born January 29, 1954 in Grand Forks, B.C.
Bill was predeceased by his parents George and Barbara, his brother-in-law Carl Erickson and his beloved dog Kita.
He leaves behind his sister Patricia Erickson, his brother Bob (Tami), nephews Rob (Stephanie), Erickson and Lucas Peters, nieces Karen (Glen), Heavens and Shelby Peters, his great nephews and nieces Tanis and Thomas Erickson, Liam and Adrianna Heavens.
After high school Bill moved to Vancouver for a few years before moving back to the Boundary where he was employed at Pope and Talbot and retired when it closed. He went back to work part time at the Pacific Grill, a job he loved but with a change in ownership decided to retire again.
Bill stayed busy with his hobbies that included cooking, gardening, he loved exotic plants, photography and playing his piano and every so often would pull out his sketch pad or paints, he also loved to listen to music.
Bill loved Greenwood, his family and friends. The Japanese community and culture were important to Bill and was prevalent in his life.
Bill was a generous, kind, caring person and will be missed by those who knew him. Man makes plans and God laughs. Till we meet again, we love you Bill. There will be no service as requested by Bill.
