We are sad to announce the sudden loss of our loving, compassionate, thoughtful, generous soul, wife, mother and friend Taki Yamamura at the age of 86. She will be truly missed.

Predeceased by Kensuka Miyagawa (brother), Yasuko Kamasu (sister), Toshiko Shimamoto (sister), Hachiyo Miyagawa (brother) and Tadashi Miyagawa (brother). Taki is survived by husband Ben; 3 sons Johnny, Anthony and Andrew.

Taki’s loves were hearing the aspen leaves rustle as the wind blows, long walks and seeing nature, tending to her plants and flowers and seeing them bloom, attending church, volunteering and helping within the community, caring for others in the community and passing on her knowledge of Japanese dance.

Her interests were reading stories involving history, music, watching Japanese TV, travelling to places such as Jerusalem, New York, Toronto, San Francisco and Japan. She will be very sadly missed by many but will forever live within our hearts and memories.
