Stephen Flynn Smith of Rock Creek, B.C. passed away suddenly July 22, 2013. Stephen was born January 17,1949 and raised in Rossland, BC. Stephen was a Journeyman carpenter by trade and worked in heavy construction. He worked on all the bridges from Midway to Canyon Bridge, logged for himself and others as well as many other jobs. He owned his own portable mill and did custom cutting for many people. He was always ready and willing to help anyone who needed help of any kind. In his retirement years he amazed himself by learning to use a computer and surf the net, looking up logging, how to do projects on the lathe, and old western movies. He loved to show off his shop, tools and woodworking projects.
