May 17, 1926 – June 23, 2018
Predeceased by husband Peter in 1971.
The passing of Stephanie Bosovich is the end of an era. Stephie was born at home in Prelate, Saskatchewan. In 1952 Steph and husband Peter along with sons Bill and John
moved up Christian Valley where they raised four strapping sons on their ranch. Stephie was never happier than when she was going “round and round” the fields on her tractor. She was famous for her hospitality and especially her homemade pie–producing a full course meal at the drop of a hat.
Stephie also loved a good party, and was always up for a dance. Stephie was actively involved in the Cattlemans Association for many years. She was also an avid curler, participating in the sport well into her eighties. I’m sure more than one person got “skunked” playing crib against her.
Stephie led such an active life it is impossible to list all her accomplishments and the lives she has touched. Last but not least, Stephie loved a good argument, especially ones she won!
Sadly missed by sons Bill (Carol), John (Dara), Maurice, and Tom, thirteen grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren.
A Family Graveside Service was held at Rock Creek Cemetery, Friday June 29th. A Celebration of Stephies life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations to the heart and stroke foundation would be appreciated.
Funeral arrangements trusted to the Baker Family of Grand Fork Funeral Home.
