On Thursday, March 16, Muriel Blaine (Thompson) of Bridesville passed away peacefully at Mariposa Gardens at the age of 93 years. She was predeceased by her first husband Jim in 1984 and second husband Alfred in 1999, her son Ted in 1988 and daughter Lynne in 2003.

Muriel will be lovingly remembered by her son Lincoln, wife Patricia and their families, Julie Webster and her children, Lynne Heywood and her families. Sister Heather her families. Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Muriel came to the Boundary area in 1944 when she married Jim Blaine, absolutely loved it here and never left. She was very involved in her community especially the Rock Creek Fall Fair.

Donations in her memory can be made to the Rock Creek and Boundary Fall fair, Box 83, Rock Creek, B.C. V0H 1Y0. By family request there will be no service.
