Born in 1931, Ivan, better known as “Buck” passed away peacefully Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2016. Buck and his family moved to Greenwood in 1950 where they resided becoming long time residents.

In his days as a logging truck driver he was known throughout the Boundary and there seemed to be no one he didn’t know or didn’t know him. Buck enjoyed many activities in his life; curling, camping, water skiing, fishing, golfing but his greatest joy was being with this family.

Buck was predeceased by his wife Helen and had four children, John (Colleen), Robert (Arlene), Tammy (Ron) and Darla (Rob); grandchildren Tara, Brennon (Alysha), Morgan (Pat), Brittany (Inaki) and Keller; four step grandchildren; three great grandchildren, Lorenzo, Blake and Jack. Buck is Survived by his dear companion Angie, his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

His family wish to thank the excellent and loving care given to him by the nurses, doctors and staff in emergency and auxiliary cottage at Hardy View Lodge.

Open house celebration of Buck’s life will be held at 610 Strathmore Ave. in Greenwood on Sat., Aug. 27 from 1 - 4 p.m.
