Everett (Evy) Clayton Johnson, son of Hilda and Werner Johnson, died on July 5, 2018 at Boundary Hospital surrounded by his family.
Everett was 88, born June 14, 1930 at Boundary Falls, where he lived the majority of his life. He started working at age 14 and had an extensive career working in many fields including construction with his friends who have been by his side throughout many adventures, farming, mining and logging.
In their 60th year of marriage, Everett shared many wonderful years with Martha, having four children; Annette (Scot), Karol, Bob (Jeniece) and Ted. Everett also had three grandchildren Ashley, Ryan and Vance and a great granddaughter Daisy.
He is predeceased by his brother Raymond and sister Svea, his one surviving sister Daphne was at his side when he passed away. Everett is also survived by many nieces and nephews who were all very special to him.
His kindness and generosity was extended to anyone he met and he never hesitated to help those in need, his humanitarianism will be missed by family, friends and all those who met him.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Everett Johnson Palliative Care Fund. Donations can be made through the Heritage Credit Union and a celebration of life will be August 25, 2018, 1 pm - 3:30 pm on the family farm.
