On Wednesday, February 28, 2018, Mr. Edward Philip Oswald of Rock Creek passed away peacefully at his home at the age of 84 years.
He was predeceased by his son Wayne Oswald; father Edward Philip Oswald and mother Elizabeth Gaines.
He will be fondly remembered by his loving family including wife Betty Lou Oswald; daughter Darlene Oswald (Josh); daughter Michelle Hlady and grandchildren Kristen Hlady-Doyle and Seth Schmidt; son Byron Oswald (Tiffany) and grandchildren Ella, Aria and Orion; sister Elizabeth "Liza" Tarr (Roy); nieces Deborah Donahue and Dana Donahue; nephew David Donahue as well as great-grandchildren and great-grandnieces and nephews.
Edward worked as a maintenance worker for Lafarge Concrete in Vancouver for 45 years.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was very involved with Lucky Bucks Archery in Surrey and at Langley Rod & Gun.
In lieu of flowers, donations are gratefully accepted for the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the BC Lung Association.
