Connie passed away in the Grand Forks hospital at the age of 91 on July 19, 2013.
She was predeceased by her husband Leslie Guy and her two beautiful daughters Marilyn Lyons and Diane (Sadie) Barrie. Leaving behind her brother Robert Cherry who lives in Ashcroft, B.C., two grandchildren Jason Barrie and Stacy Elliot, two great-grandchildren Skyra and Solamon Elliot and of course many wonderful friends who will forever miss her witty sense of humour and her get up and go attitude!

There will be a celebration of life memorial service at the westbridge hall on Aug 16 at 6:00 p.m. We will be serving desserts and coffee. Connie’s wishes were in lieu of flowers for donations to be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association under her name: Vancouver /Burnaby Branch, Suite 110-2425 Quebec Street, Vancouver, B.C.
