Rock Creek wildfire evacuation order to be downgraded

RDKB confirm that the evacuation order will be rescinded and put to alert.

Aug. 19 – 4pm – RDKB – We are able to confirm that the Evacuation Order will be rescinded and all areas within the Rock Creek/Westbridge fire zones are on an Evacuation Alert — effective 1900 hours Wednesday, August 19, 2015.

The Highway 33 corridor remains closed indefinitely.

Local residents traffic will be permitted by pass only. The passes can be picked up the reception centres in
