Men offered legal referral services

The Legal Services Society of British Columbia is funding a program that provides legal aid referral services to men in the Boundary.

Connie Marchal, executive director, is pleased to announce that the Boundary Women’s Coalition is partnering with the Legal Services Society of British Columbia in providing legal aid referral services for men in the Boundary.

This partnership is also supported by School District 51, Boundary Family and Individual Services Society, and Community Futures Boundary. The service will be delivered by Barry Pratt, who has a long history of providing and advocating for services for men.

Office hours will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. the first and third Wednesdays of the month in Grand Forks at the Women’s Resource Centre and the fourth Wednesday of the month in Midway at the former school district office above Public Health.
