Riders drove a herd of cattle from the Harpur
Ranch to their summer range last Saturday
morning. The Harpurs have been doing this drive
each spring since 1934. They start the drive right
after a hearty breakfast of steak and eggs at the
ranch.
The cattle drive went through Rock Creek just a
little after 6. “The weather was on the cool side
and that actually helps them move a little faster,”
said Judy Harpur.
