Nancy Greene Sports Day was held at Lion’s Park in Greenwood recently.
The Greenwood Recreation Commission offered maps of two walking and biking trails to choose from at 9 a.m.
At 10 yoga and golf tips were on tap back at Lion’s Park, followed by Bocce Ball at 11.
Healthy bag lunches were provided. The day was sponsored by the Greenwood Recreation Commission as a way to promote fitness – a goal that is being spearheaded Canada-wide by Senator Nancy Greene Raine.
