Slugs: To the City of Grand Forks who contributes absolutely nothing to the weed program in the Boundary and they are the epicenter– their problem becomes everybody’s problem.
Hugs: To Shawn and Tammy Waller for all of their hard work and dedication to our Ladies Softball Tournament this past weekend.Hugs:
To Joe McGrath for manning the beer gardens for the whole weekend of our Ladies Softball Tournament.
Hugs: To our umpires, Gary, Terry, Jason,Ryan and Clint, as well as Evy and Darlene for score keeping for the Ladies Softball Tourney.
Slugs: To people that don’t appreciate the umpires and can’t keep their nasty comments to themselves.
Slugs: To the people that camp in the truck lane at the Midway scale blocking the truckers’ access to the scales.
Slugs: To the contractor looking after the Johnson Creek campsite. The water pump has been broken for 15 months and potential campers that would have stayed there leave our area and spend their money elsewhere.
Hugs: To the Regional District of Kootenay Boundary for taking bags of hoary alyssum free at the landfill.
If you have a hug or a slug, we’d like to hear it. We will print the anonymous submissions for all to see. Be honest, but all we ask is that you keep it tasteful.
