The Midway Community Club (MCC) hosted a Valentine’s Day Dinner and a Movie night last Friday evening in the community hall.
Cat Kappes reported that 81 people turned out for the $5 deal. “We wanted to make sure that everyone has an opportunity for an affordable evening out,” she said.
Lasagna, salad, garlic bread and a huge sheet cake for desert kept everyone happy.
Kappes reports that MCC membership numbers have been looking healthier over the past while. “But we’re always open to more.”
The next event being planned by the MCC is a Spring Fling Dance in May.
